Your Glasses Are Dirty

You know the feeling. Your mum looks at you and says, "Hand me your glasses."

You say, "No, they're fine. I can see fine."

She gives you the look. You hand them over. She breathes on them, wipes them on her shirt, hands them back.

And then you see.

Oh.

The whole world just got sharper. Trees have individual leaves. Text on signs actually makes sense. Everything you thought was just how things looked... was not how things looked. You were seeing through smudges the whole time and had no idea.

That is exactly how chiropractic works.

If you never go and get your spine checked, you are getting by. You are moving through your day, your week, your life, seeing things not so clearly. Not because you are broken but because you have never actually had clean lenses.

I see this thirty times a week.

People come in not because they are in agony. They come in because something feels a little off. Energy is lower than it used to be. They get injured quicker than they used to. They cannot quite do the things they want to do. And they have written it off as age, stress, life. They are spending more energy than they should just to feel normal and they do not even know it.

When we get your spine moving, we get your body moving. Not just your back. Your whole system. The brain and body are talking through that spine and when those signals are getting interrupted, everything downstream suffers. That is not theory. That is what I watch reverse itself in front of me on a daily basis.

The problem with running at 90 percent is that you get used to it. You stop noticing. You stop comparing because you forgot what 100 felt like. Brain fog becomes your baseline. Stiffness in the morning becomes just how mornings are. Little injuries that used to clear up in two days start taking two weeks. And you still say, "I'm fine."

Here is the part people really need to hear.

Rest will not fix this. Exercise will not fix this. Nutrition, yoga, Pilates, all of those things are wonderful and I genuinely want you doing them. But they do not correct the structural and neurological problems that I can help you with. They work alongside what I do. They do not replace it.

The injuries you are walking around with right now are not resting. They are compounding. And one day, often without warning, you will have a pain that does not go away the way they used to. Not because something new happened. Because something old finally ran out of room to hide.

Do not wait for that day.

Nobody is coming to catch this for you. The NHS will not screen your spine. Your GP will not flag this until it becomes a problem they can treat. This is yours to own. Your health, your spine, your responsibility.

Getting your spine checked is not something you do when you are in pain. It is something you do so that you stay out of it. It is the difference between wiping your glasses once in a while and squinting through life wondering why everything feels harder than it should.

Come in. Let us have a look. You might be surprised what you have been missing.
